Do I have to have a Section 8 Voucher?
No. We gladly accept Section 8 Vouchers, but they are not required to rent a home.

Do you “go by income?” 

No. Our apartments are not public housing, but our rental rates are set by the federal government. Only people whose income is below a certain amount may rent our homes. The rent tenants pay is standardized and is not according to income unless a tenant has a Section 8 Voucher.

Which utilities do I pay?

Tenants are responsible for paying all utilities unless other arrangements are made.

What appliances come with the home?
All apartments include washers, dryers, disposals, refrigerators, and dishwashers.

How do you choose your tenants? 

Prospective tenants are qualified to make sure that they meet our selection criteria, including consumer credit and criminal background checks. NOAMM does not discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, gender, familial status, or sexual orientation.

Are pets allowed? 

Dogs and cats are not allowed. Fish, hamsters, gerbils, and reptiles are allowed.

Some of your units are listed as “Handicapped Accessible” and some as “Universal Design.” What’s the difference? 

Our “Handicapped Accessible” units are 100% ADA compliant. A person with special mobility needs will have no problem living in these units. Other units have handicapped accessible appliances, bathrooms, hallways, and so forth, but because they do not have a ramp or are on the second floor, they are not listed as “Handicapped Accessible.” These units are perfect for tenants who like accessibility features in their home but don’t necessarily need a fully handicapped accessible unit.
